MINNEAPOLIS — Nash Finch here on Monday said it has completed the previously announced acquisition of three distribution centers from GSC Enterprises, a food distributor based in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Nash said the addition of the GSC centers — located in Pensacola, Fla.; Junction City, Kan.; and San Antonio — would bolster its military commissary and exchange business and facilitate expansion.
Also Monday, Nash said Edward Brunot, senior vice president, military, will take on an additional role as president and chief operating officer of MDV, Nash Finch’s Norfolk, Va.-based military business. In his new role Brunot will oversee existing MDV businesses and the new GSC centers.
