NEW YORK — Target has started showing an interactive storefront display in Manhattan to promote the availability of Converse footwear at Target stores, according to Inwindow Outdoor here, provider of the display. As pedestrians walk past the “Storescape” display — located at street-level vacant retail space on Sixth Avenue — photos pop up along the window, said Inwindows. The intent is to “keep the attention of a passer-by to a greater extent than any static billboard could,” said Steve Birnhak, chief executive officer, Inwindow Outdoor, in a statement. The Target display will run through the end of the month.
