BRAMPTON, Ontario — Loblaw Cos. here on Wednesday said it has launched dedicated mobile phone shops in 500 of its grocery stores in Canada.
Dubbed The Mobile Shop ("La Boutique Mobile" in Quebec), the shops will help Loblaw become one of Canada's major retailers of mobile phones.
The shops will carry nine brands, including Loblaw's proprietary PC Telecom services, which offer calling cards and mobile handsets through a partnership with Bell Mobility.
