ROSEMONT, Ill. — A new industry conference focusing on loyalty marketing will take place Oct. 5-7, 2009, at the Westin O’Hare here.
Called the LEAD (Loyalty, Engagement, Analytics and Digital) Marketing Conference, the event will geared to multiple channels of retailing, including supermarkets, drug, dollar store, mass and discount, convenience stores, specialty stores and department stores. Registration for qualified retailers and wholesalers will be complimentary.
The conference will be produced by a consortium of three companies — RetailConnections, Somerset Productions and Primary Communications; the companies said the conference hopes to “fill the vacuum” left by the Global Electronic Marketing (GEMCON) Conference, which was discontinued after its last event in October 2006.
